An interesting and well preserved late war Waffen SS service tunic, constructed of a field grey drill cloth with a pronounced herringbone twill (HBT) weave. It features a turned down collar which is flanked on each side by tabs constructed of black wool with rigid buckram cores. Each measuring 40 mm (w) x 50 mm (l), the right side insignia tab bears machine embroidered silver grey Sig runes, while the left side rank tab is
