The quartet was integral in helping establish the sonic foundation for such aggressive and abrasive styles as grindcore and melodic death metal. Their earliest works, like Reek Of Putrefaction and Symphonies Of Sickness, were released on Earache in Europe and Combat in the States. The band has since signed to other labels but they've continued on, save for a break, and are still at it today
