Georgian 18th Century 'Croix de Saint Lo' Silver Paste Cross Pendant Pendant polished surface with a hingedDescription: An exceptional example of early 19th century craftsmanship, this Georgian Croix de Saint Lo pendant is set throughout with sparkling hand cut Paste stones in Sterling Silver. These crosses originated in Normandy, France, and were cherished devotional jewels symbolising faith and protection. The Paste gems, known as black dot Paste, were meticulously hand painted to imitate the culets of fine Diamonds, giving the piece a magnificent
