Germany, Heer. An Infantry EM/NCO’s M35 Overseas Cap, Late-War Example Auction Archive and features his occupation (locksmith)(Heer Schiffchen M35 fr Mannschaften der Infanterie). A well preserved Heer Infantry EM NCOs M35 overseas cap, constructed of field grey wool twill. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels which slope downward toward the front. Ventilation holes flank each side of the crown, and are reinforced with zink grommets. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark green rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered silver grey
